Whole Sweet Plantain Stuffed with Pulled Pork
1 Whole sweet plantain
2.5oz. Already cooked pulled pork
1/2oz. Crumbled or shedded cheese
1/2oz. Choped scallions & parsley for garnish
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- 2. Bake the plantains for 20-25 minutes or deep-fry for 5 minutes.
- 3. Cut a horizontal slit down the length of the plantain, making sure not to cut too deep. Use a knife to put the slit apart, to create an opening for the stuffing.
- 4. Then fill plantain with the ingredient and put in the oven for 3-5 minutes to heat the stuffing.
- 5. Garnish and serve.
Serve as appetizer or main course.
